Welcome to WATAPUR Website!

Welcome to our website! WATAPUR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit human service organization founded and led by members of the Afghan community in Illinois in 2020. We are committed to serving refugees, immigrants, and low-income individuals. Our organization focuses on youth development programs that promote legal and cultural awareness, alongside career development workshops.

Additionally, we provide valuable services to our community, offering free tax consultations and assistance with essential applications, including Link Card, SNAP, TANF, medical assistance, LIHEAP, affordable connectivity programs, rental assistance, and emergency assistance. Furthermore, we help with legal immigration processes, such as Green card applications, citizenship, and asylum applications.
